Walking In the Spirit

Walking In the Spirit

Galatians 5:16-17
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Romans 6:12

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

Romans 7:18-20

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

Romans 7:22-24

22 For I delight in the law of YAH according to the inward man.

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank Yah—through Yahushua Ha Mashiach!  So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of YAH, but with the flesh the law of sin.

  Romans 8:5-10

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against YAH; for it is not subject to the law of YAH, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please YAH. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of YAH dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Yahushua, he is not His. 10 And if Yahushua is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Galations 5:25-26

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Romans 8:12-17

Sonship Through the Spirit

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of YAH, these are sons of YAH. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of YAH, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of YAH and joint heirs with Yahushua, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

YAH is our Strength, Our light, Our Shield

Exodus 13:22
22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.

YAH is our Strength, Our light, Our Shield

Psalm 28:7-8
The Most High is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.
8 The Most High is their strength,
And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.
9 Save Your people,
And bless Your inheritance;
Shepherd them also,
And bear them up forever.

In light of the recent uneasiness some feel in these times it is important for us to stay encouraged. To understand that through all our tribulations YAH promises us He will be our comforter, our guiding light, our strength through it all.

Isaiah 12 (NKJV)

A Hymn of Praise

12 And in that day you will say:
“O YAH, I will praise You;
Though You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
2 Behold, YAH is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
‘For YAH, The Most High, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’”
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation.
4 And in that day you will say:
“Praise the The Most High, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.
5 Sing to the The Most High,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great is the Set Apart One of Israel in your midst!”

Psalm 119:65-72

65 You have dealt well with Your servant,
O YAH, according to Your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge,
For I believe Your commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.
68 You are good, and do good;
Teach me Your statutes.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me,
But I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease,
But I delight in Your law.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
That I may learn Your statutes.
72 The law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting YAH, The Most High,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on The Most High
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Exodus 14-10-14

10 And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to The Most High. 11 Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”
13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of YAH, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 YAH will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Exodus 14:17:18

17 And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen. 18 Then the Egyptians shall know that I am YAH, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”

Be not afraid, my people! YAH is the author of all things!

Isaiah 45:1-8

1 ‘I will go before you
And make the crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron.
3 I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, YAH,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.
4 For Jacob My servant’s sake,
And Israel My elect,
I have even called you by your name;
I have named you, though you have not known Me.
5 I am YAH, and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me.
I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides Me.
I am YAH, and there is no other;
7 I form the light and create darkness,
I make peace and create calamity;
I, YAH, do all these things.’
8 “Rain down, you heavens, from above,
And let the skies pour down righteousness;
Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation,
And let righteousness spring up together.
I, YAH, have created it.

John 4:4
4 You are of YAH, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

HalleluYAH!
