Acknowledging Yah in all we do

Acknowledging Yah in all we do

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
5 Trust in the The Most High with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Do you ever stop to think or even conceive of the blessing of waking up in the morning? How about being able to see the beauty of the sunrise or the silvery light of a full moon at night, having the ability to speak, ears to hear, legs to walk, arms to hold someone you love? How many of us take for granted that we have the authority to plan for tomorrow, or the weekend, next month or even next year? We rarely consider that our breath is a gift, our heartbeat a rhythm, our life like a second in the hand of Yah’s will.

James 4:13-14 (NKJV)
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”;
14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Yet we go through our lives daily never taking a moment to acknowledge the mercy and the esteem of an Almighty Creator that makes it all possible. I admit I have been guilty of it myself as well. However, I have made myself conscious of waking each morning giving Yah praise, thanking Him each morning for allowing me see another beautiful morning whether it is cloudy and gray, rain or the brightest, bluest, sunniest day. I understand it is only by His will and mercy He has awaken me to the importance of acknowledging the many things we often take for granted by the simplistic distractions of our lives. In fact, it seems the only time we do consider Him is when we are deep in tribulation, despair or have suffered a devastating loss we cannot seem to bear. It is a human frailty we all suffer from…

How do we overcome that thoughtlessness when everything around us should remind us to acknowledge Yah in everything we do? It’s simple; really, just listen to that faint voice inside of you. The voice that lies dormant because of the distractions of the world. The whispering spirit of Yah that you have ignored because you’re not ready to give up something you think you are missing, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. You will never find it no matter how hard you try because Yah created that yearning in us, that toil of spiritual enmity with the carnal flesh and most will never know how to truly find peace until they have chosen the spirit over the flesh.

John 4:23-24
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 Yah is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

It will be a daily battle but when you allow the Set Apart Spirit of Yah and Yahushua to flow into your heart, acknowledge His will in your life, give Him the praise and esteem and put Yah first in all you do with prayer and supplication…HalleluYah!

He will make some miraculous changes in your life and His spirit that now abides in you will inspire acknowledgement in His Power and esteem, every day!

James 4:7-10
7 Therefore submit to Yah. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to Yah and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of The Most High, and He will lift you up.

Do Not Boast About Tomorrow

James 4:15-17
15 Instead you ought to say, “If Yah wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
