Crucifying the Flesh

Crucifying the Flesh

Matthew 16:24

Take Up the Stake and Follow Him

24 Then Yahushua said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his stake, and follow Me.

2 Timothy 3:12

 12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Messiah Yahushua will suffer persecution.

Psalm 71:20

20 You, who have shown me great and severe troubles,

Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

Psalm 60:3-5

3 You have shown Your people hard things;

You have made us drink the wine of confusion.

4 You have given a banner to those who fear You,

That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah

5 That Your beloved may be delivered,

Save with Your right hand, and hear me.

Hosea 6:1-2

A Call to Repentance

6 Come, and let us return to the The Most High;

For He has torn, but He will heal us;

He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

2 After two days He will revive us;

On the third day He will raise us up,

That we may live in His sight.

1 Peter 2:21-22

 21 For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

1 John 2:6

6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

John 15:4

 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

John 17:23

 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Isaiah 53:9

9 And they made His grave with the wicked—

But with the rich at His death,

Because He had done no violence,

Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Luke 23:33

33 And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.

Colossians 3:14-17

 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of YAH rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Yahushua dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to The Most High. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Messiah Yahushua, giving thanks to YAH the Father through Him.
